Artist's Comments

I tried a new colouring technique with this pic, mostly using gradients, and drew the background without using any layers whatsoever... making it a mighty quick colour (less than an hour!)

This is UNSC Lieutenant Commander Evans, transmutated into a Flood monstrosity and given the ability of a super-carrier Flood form, gifted to him by the Grave Mind itself!

Evans is a foul-mouthed a-hole, a totally unlikeable character. He isn't this size, just like this so he can be seen. He's actually a lot smaller (the creature's head is the size and length of a bus, and he's human sized). He's been mutated into a maggot-like monster that lurks inside the monster's brain stem.

Evans has a dislike of Sentinels and fears them, calling Sentinels Hover Freaks, One Eyed Gulags and the like.
